Our Story
About Melanie
I work with healthcare and life sciences teams on content that sits at the intersection of science, education, and business. My work ranges from product education and enablement to training materials, healthcare content strategy, and marketing communications.

A lot of healthcare content has to do several things at once: be scientifically sound, make sense to its intended audience, and support a larger product or business objective. My public health background gives me a strong foundation in communicating health information beyond clinical and technical audiences, including translating complex topics into language that is accessible and relevant to the general public. I enjoy figuring out what each audience needs to know and how best to communicate it.

I bring both subject-matter fluency and a strategic approach to content development. I can take dense scientific or product information, identify what matters most to the audience, and shape it into content that is clear, engaging, and aligned with the broader communication strategy. My experience spans educational content, product messaging, sales enablement, and marketing materials, giving me a perspective that bridges content development and the goals behind it.

I’ve spent more than a decade working in health and healthcare, with an MPH from UC Berkeley and a background in public health and academic research. For the past four-plus years, I’ve worked in medical writing and strategic content development within healthcare communications agencies.

My approach is straightforward: understand the subject, understand the audience, and build content that serves both.
